Abstract:This paper introduces the characteristics of Chinese traditional diet culture, such as perse flavors, which can be pided into “sweet in the south, salty in the north, sour in the east and spicy in the west”。 It pays attention to the combination of traditional culture, the etiquette and habits of lectures and banquets, the direction of seating, the placement of tableware, the symbolic meaning of dishes, and the order of serving all have requirements。 There is a lofty pursuit of dietary culture, and the production of Chinese cuisine is extremely demanding for knife work and fire。

It needs to pay attention to aesthetic feeling, so as to achieve the harmony and unity of color, fragrance, taste, shape and beauty。 Combination of food and medicine can make food materials with medicinal value into various dishes, in order to achieve the purpose of preventing and treating some diseases。 The development path of Chinese dietary culture is put forward, such as reforming the dietary structure, giving priority to vegetable food, supplemented by animal food, and creating a dietary nutrition model with Chinese characteristics。
